Obama elected president
Yeah, what the whole internet waited for and crossed its fingers for happened; Mr. Barack Obama is the future president of the United States. We’re all happy about that, all around the world, and our hopes and expectations now have a true chance of being fulfilled. Still, we have a duty too.
We have a duty to understand that Obama is a politician who surrounds himself with advisors, not a black overlord riding a huge horse and fighting off evil. Miracles will not happen, but we have a duty to keep him to his word and he has a duty to show us that our trust was not misdirected. People much more qualified than me have given their word about this, so I’ll speak no more.
Mr. Obama, make us proud.

An evening at the philharmonic
First of all, I have absolutely no idea if that’s how you spell it and I’m really tired so hope that’s right. Anyway, yesterday was quite an evening, as I got into the philharmonic for free (to start with). It has to be said that despite the fact that I play guitar for almost 2 years already and studied a bit of classical guitar, classical music is not really my thing. I can listen to it, it’s quite relaxing, but it’s just one of those things you do several times a year.
So I went there not actually knowing what it will be like, as I have to say this type of cultural activity is not something I do often, really. But I heard that Valentin Gheorghiu (who is just amazing at the piano, at over 80 years) was going to be there, so I checked it out. I was quite amazed to see that the philharmonic from an average city in Romania is this good, and they really were. The choir was also amazing.
The musicians were all very young for what you’d expect, but what amazed me was something else. Less than ten percent of the people from the audience were younger than 60-70 years old. What’s the future of the classical music 10 years from now ?? I have no idea. Just hope there is one.

This video is not available in your country
Yeah, back here in Romania we get used to that a lot. I’m aware that… certain individuals from my country caused certain problems (bogus auctions on ebay, hacking and stuff, blabla), but as an average user it would sure be great to see some more respect from certain places. For example, Sting will soon concert in Bucharest. Wanting to go to that concert and get in the feel of it, started to watch some videos on youtube.
Among the first things I searched for was Englishman in New York. But it didn’t give any results on youtube, which was a bit weird, so I searched it on google. There ya go.

So really, what’s this all about ?? If I’d search through the site, I’d probably find some boring explanation about why they can’t offer the same services and stuff, but really. I search for the cookie. You show me the cookie, then say you can’t have it. Not why, not how, not if you’ll ever have it. You won’t get the cookie. Thanks youtube, you made my day.

Hello world!
Yeah, this is my first post. I’ve got no good idea about what should be here, but I guess it’s supposed to be something important, so perhaps I’ll add something a bit later
